The goal is to ensure a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for all users, with particular attention to vulnerable individuals who may rely on UZURV services due to age, disability, or other needs.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Scope:<\/b><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">This policy applies to all drivers, employees, contractors, or anyone affiliated with the UZURV Mobility Platform who interacts with passengers during the provision of special transportation services.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Definitions:<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Sexual Assault:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\"> An act by a person; Who touches or attempts to touch the sexual body parts (e.g., the mouth, breasts, buttocks, or genitalia) or non-sexual body parts of a Transportation Network Company passenger or driver; and The touching or attempted touching is against the will of the Transportation Network Company passenger or driver being touched.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Sexual Harassment:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\"> Someone who engages in an act of; unwelcome visual, verbal, nonverbal, or physical conduct (either a single act or multiple acts); directed at a Transportation Network Company passenger or driver; based on sex and\/or gender (including gender identity, gender expression, and sexual orientation); and which creates an intimidating, hostile, or offensive environment to a reasonable person.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>Examples:\u00a0<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Physical touching, groping, pinching, kissing, hugging, patting, tickling, brushing against another person\u2019s body, assault, coerced sexual acts, impeding or blocking movements;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Unwanted advances or propositions, such as repeated requests for dates or sexual favors; suggestive or obscene messages or invitations;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Non-verbal conduct such as staring, leering, or gestures;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Catcalling (shouting, yelling, whistling);<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Unwanted sharing or display of visuals that are sexually suggestive (objects, posters, cartoons, pictures, or drawings);<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Verbal conduct such as lewd remarks, sex-based epithets, obscene comments, derogatory comments, sexually degrading words, slurs, sexual jokes, innuendo, or unwanted flirtations;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Graphic comments about an individual\u2019s body, sexual prowess, or sexual deficiencies<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Threatening to hit someone with a raised fist or weapon;\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Punching or slapping someone;\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Shoving someone into a wall or other object, causing them to lose balance or fall;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Kicking or choking someone\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>Roles and Responsibilities<\/b><\/h2>\n<table>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td><b>Department<\/b><\/td>\n<td><b>Responsibility<\/b><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><b>Administration<\/b><\/td>\n<td><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Maintain this policy<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><b>Operations<\/b><\/td>\n<td><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Investigate complaints and determine outcome<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Notify users of investigation outcome<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><b>Compliance<\/b><\/td>\n<td><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Monitor complaints for compliance with policy<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h2><b>Compliance and Enforcement<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">UZURV does not tolerate any instances of sexual abuse, harassment, misconduct, or physical assault, against any User.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Physical contact between a Driver and a rider is strictly prohibited, except in the case of an extraordinary safety reason where emergency assistance is required.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">In the case of an adult Rider,\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/help.hopskipdrive.com\/en_us\/limited-physical-assistance-for-older-riders-SkUghcugO\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">limited physical assistance<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">\u00a0may be requested by the adult Rider.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Because the intent of this policy is to deter conduct that is unwanted, unreasonable, and demeaning, UZURV may consider a user\u2019s conduct to be in violation of this policy even if it does not rise to the level of unlawful assault or harassment under applicable law.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Procedure<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">We strongly encourage the prompt reporting of all incidents of potential sexual assault, harassment, or misconduct to UZURV. UZURV\u2019s investigation process ensures confidentiality to the extent possible and is consistent with UZURV\u2019s <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/uzurv.com\/privacy-policy\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Privacy Policy.<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">UZURV has established a process for users to submit complaints through the UZURV app or<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">by phone<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\"> and will conduct an impartial and timely investigation based on the information collected.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">If an allegation is credible, UZURV will take action up to and including permanently removing a user\u2019s access <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">to UZURV\u2019s platform and the ability<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\"> to ride and\/or drive with UZURV.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To file a complaint:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Complaints about individual drivers or riders should be directed to UZURV by using the support button in the app, sending an email to\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"mailto:support@uzurv.com\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">support@uzurv.com<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">or calling customer support at (866) 898-7836<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Users may also file a complaint in their respective state using the contact information provided in UZURV\u2019s <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/uzurv.com\/state-terms-conditions\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">state-specific terms of service<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">There will be no retaliation for making a good faith complaint or participating in an investigation against another user.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>References<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nsvrc.org\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">National Sexual Violence Resource Center<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\"> (NSVRC)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/uzurv.com\/privacy-policy\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">UZURV Privacy Policy<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/uzurv.com\/state-terms-conditions\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">UZURV State-Specific Terms of Service<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Drivers may direct questions and concerns to UZURV by sending an email to <a href=\"mailto:Support@uzurv.com\">Support@uzurv.com<\/a>.[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator sep_color=&#8221;&#8221;
